Geography

The Department of Geography was established at the inception of the College itself. It was run by the Late Dr. Majumdar and later on by Dr J. Kaur till her retirement in 2000. The current Head of Department is Dr. Upma Chaturvedi who took up the post in the year 2001 and since then she has been very actively and efficiently managing the department.
The department is deeply inclined towards Research and innovative learning activities and has organised several Academic activities online and offline.
The Department follows the same syllabus as that of Lucknow University for its undergraduate classes in the subject.
