Addressing the growing preference of students to take up commerce as an area to pursue undergraduate course and further seek job opportunities, Avadh Girls’ Degree College in the year 2001, established the Department of Commerce. Over the past years, the department has blossomed into the primary choice of girl students in the city. It is the culmination of tireless efforts of its teachers to render quality education induced by university results and progressionist academic ambience of the college. Our motto is to produce quality graduates whose understanding and performance speaks for itself as resonated by the adoption of the NEP 2020 curriculum by the department since the year 2020-2021. We have fairly well succeeded in our endeavour, amply induced by its demand. It is a direct consequence of our selection process through merit and interview.
