Book Bank

The College has a well equipped library to promote learning amongst the students of the College. The Library offers the facility of INFLIBNET to the staff and students, which gives access to more than 1,64,300 + e-books, 33,916 + periodicals and 10,000 + Full-text Journals. INFLIBNET also provides infrastructure for sharing of Library e-resources among academic and research institutes.

The library has an open-shelf system which provides more than 25,000 books, – Reference books, Subjects books, Fiction, Personality Development Books, Biographies, Newspapers and Magazines. The College houses books for courses of B.A. and B.Com programs. The library also has a rich collection of books for the P.G. courses in English, Education, Geography and Political Science. The Library also offers the visitors choice from a wide array newspapers such as The Hindu, The Economic Times, The Times of India, Hindustan Times, Dainik Jagran, Hindustan, Amar Ujala etc. The Library Informatives are also has subscription of latest magazines like Competition Success Review, Frontline, India Today, Reader’s Digest, Yojna, Economic and Political Weekly, Business Today, Entrepreneur, Outlook etc.

An Orientation Programme is organized for the first year students at the beginning of the new session, in which they are acquainted with the catalogue system, the Reference Books Section, the Subject Books Section and the System of Issuing and Returning of Books. The College has a Library Committee which takes care of the administrative aspect and ensures the smooth functioning of the library. The students are required to have a library card for issuing books. The books are issued for six days at a time.
